Dr. Carlin Senter is Professor and Director of Primary Care Sports Medicine within the Division of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery. She is a primary care sports medicine doctor who focuses on helping patients of all ages stay active, reduce injury risk and achieve peak performance. She has particular interests in exercise counseling and exercise prescription as well as in treating sports concussions. She is also co-director of the UCSF Sports Concussion Program.
Dr. Rhonda Watkins is a board-certified pediatrician with fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine she treats children and young adults with a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. Her areas of interest include sports medicine, injury prevention, fractures, bone health, and running injuries.
Dr. William A. Berrigan, MD, RMSK, is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the Division of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service.

Dr. Celina de Borja is a board-certified pediatrician with fellowship training and certification in sports medicine, who cares for children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. In addition to general pediatric orthopedics, her areas of interest include sports and dance medicine, injury prevention and bone health.
Dr. Hatamiya is a board-certified Primary Care Sports Medicine physician who focuses on caring for patients of all ages and strives to provide comprehensive care to help them achieve their goals and embrace healthy lifestyles. He has particular interests in musculoskeletal ultrasound, preventative medicine and exercise-as-medicine care.
In research, Dr. Hatamiya's interests include applications of digital health technologies, point-of-care ultrasound, and improving musculoskeletal medical education. He has also performed research in biomechanics and exercise physiology.
My clinic is busy and allows access to patients of any age, different activity levels, and various orthopedic and medical conditions. My experience enables me to manage patient issues conservatively while directing operative cases to our surgeons, improving the efficiency of the sports medicine service and surgical yield for surgeons. I have experience performing exertional compartment testing for 20 years for diagnostic purposes.
